About Yarra Gables
Yarra Gables is a Healesville motel built around Marna House, a farm homestead dating from about 1900 that later served as a guest house. Owners Ralph and Helen run it today, and its mix of motel rooms and whole houses suits wedding guests, families and friends travelling in for a Yarra Valley celebration. The motel rooms range from a standard room with two double beds and a ramp entry, to two queen spa rooms with a dining table and couch, and a king spa room with a walk-in robe, separate kitchenette and a bathroom with both spa and shower. The two family rooms each pair a king-bedded main room with a second bedroom of two singles and its own TV. Every room has air conditioning, free wifi and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and crockery. For bigger groups, the Villa, the Cottage, Cottage Two and the Lodge are detached three-bedroom houses, each self-contained and sleeping up to six. The Villa is next door to the motel, while the others are a short walk across the lawn, with separate vehicle access. A wedding party or extended family can book several houses and rooms together and stay side by side in the established gardens.

Which option sleeps the most guests?
Each of the four detached houses – the Villa, the Cottage, Cottage Two and the Lodge – has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six. Booking several together suits a wedding party or a family group.
Do the motel rooms have kitchen facilities?
Yes. Every room has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus crockery, cutlery and glassware. The king spa room has its own separate kitchenette area.
Are there rooms for families with children?
Rooms 4 and 5 are family rooms. Parents get a king bed, and children sleep in two singles in a second bedroom with its own TV.
Is there an accessible room?
Room 1, the standard room, has two double beds, a ramp at the entrance and an accessible shower, making it partly accessible.
How much does a room cost?
Prices change with the room, how many adults and children are staying, and whether it is a weekday or weekend. The king spa room is listed at $210 to $260 a night, and other rates show when you check dates on the booking page.
