A team-building day on the Mornington Peninsula is mostly about the change of scene. Swapping the office for a vineyard, a brewpub or a room by the bay gives a team space to talk, and a shared lunch often does as much as any structured exercise.
Only a handful of venues are listed for team building here so far, so treat this page as a starting point. Most groups come from Melbourne for the day, which means the drive, the start time and the trip home shape the program as much as the activity itself.
What to sort out early:
Midweek dates are the easiest to secure, especially outside the summer holidays. Winter can be a good time too, with quieter venues and a fire inside after a morning outdoors.
The list is small, so send each suitable venue an enquiry describing your group and what you'd like the day to achieve. You'll hear back from the venue itself, with no commission or booking fee added.

The few venues listed for team building here don't publish a price yet. Ask each for a quote that includes the room, catering and any tasting or activity so you can compare like with like.
Some can run a guided tasting or a hosted session as part of the day. Ask what they offer in-house before booking an outside facilitator.
Not yet – the Peninsula list covers venues only for now. Your venue will usually know local facilitators and activity operators it trusts.
Ask for the wet-weather plan before you book anything outdoors. Most venues can move the group into an indoor room, but check it's big enough.
A chartered coach from Melbourne keeps everyone together and solves the drink-driving question. Confirm where it can drop off and park at the venue.
Weekdays outside the summer holidays are easiest to book. Autumn and winter bring quieter venues, while summer suits outdoor plans but needs booking further ahead.
