About Cedar Creek Cottages

Cedar Creek Cottages are seven private, self-contained cottages on Stonehurst Cedar Creek, a 550-acre family farm and winery near Wollombi with vineyards, creeks and mountain views. The estate is also a wedding venue, so the cottages are a natural fit for wedding parties and guests, as well as families in the area for a reunion or couples marking an anniversary. Horses, cows and calves share the paddocks, and kangaroos and wallabies come out at dawn and dusk. The Settler's Cottages sit on the hillside above the vines. Goldsmith's and Howell's are one-bedroom studios with kitchenettes and rain showers, and Shadforth's is a two-bedroom cottage with two bathrooms and a corner spa. The Farm Cottages edge the Cedar Creek vineyard: Timbercutter's is a one-bedroom with a long spa and disabled access, Gardener's a one-bedroom with a claw-foot bath, and Gatekeeper's a two-bedroom sleeping up to six. Grove Cottage, in sandstone beside the cellar door, has two bedrooms, a corner spa and room for six with its sofa bed. Every cottage has a wood fire, queen beds with linen, air conditioning, a TV and a private verandah. Stays include a country breakfast hamper, a bottle of the estate's port and an 11am check-out. The Stonehurst cellar door is on site for tastings, and the estate is part of the Wollombi Wine Trail. For weddings, all seven cottages together house up to 28 guests using the sofa beds.

Stayed here for two nights in the Gardeners Cottage. We really enjoyed our stay, rustic but had all the facilities of home. The bed was awesome and had a nice view from the verandah.
