About Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay
Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay is a 52-acre property on the edge of historic Wollombi village, with two self-contained homes that can be booked separately or together. It is a strong choice for families travelling together for a wedding or a milestone birthday, for reunions where cousins of every age need space to run around, and for small group retreats or workshops. The houses sit well away from the main road, yet the village is within walking distance. The Farmhouse has five bedrooms and four bathrooms and sleeps up to 14, or 16 on request. There is an open fireplace, air conditioning in every room, a 10-seat dining table, a rumpus with Netflix and Xbox, and a games room for darts, air hockey and table tennis. Outside are a pool heated to 27 degrees in swimming months, a large trampoline, a fire pit and a gas barbecue. The Cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to six, with gas heating, a balcony over the valley, a separate TV room, and its own hot tub, fire pit and barbecue. Both have full kitchens with espresso machines, a laundry, and all linen and towels. The farm is home to miniature Galloway cows, alpacas, miniature and thoroughbred horses and silkie chickens, all happy to be fed. Guests can also use the bikes, bushwalking trails, tree swing and dam, and fish from the brook. A full-time caretaker lives discreetly on site, and only Telstra and Optus phones get reception.
