About APX Parramatta
APX Parramatta is a serviced apartment hotel on Hope Street in Rosehill, run by APX Hotels Apartments, a Sydney operator whose corporate office is in the same street. It offers studios plus one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and the operator's groups page names bucks and hens nights alongside birthday weekends, weddings and family reunions, pitching the idea of heading out and coming back to your own apartment. For a hens or bucks organiser, that means a lounge, dining table and kitchen to gather in rather than a row of separate hotel rooms. The largest option is the three-bedroom apartment, about 90 m², sleeping up to eight: queen beds in two bedrooms, two singles in the third and two sofa beds in the living area. Two-bedroom apartments (80 m², in standard and executive versions) take up to six, again with two sofa beds, and the executive one-bedrooms take three. Every apartment has a full kitchen with gas cooktop, oven and dishwasher, its own laundry with washer and dryer, split-system air-conditioning and free wifi. The two-bedroom units have balconies and most one-bedrooms open onto a courtyard. Downstairs there is an outdoor saltwater pool and a BBQ area for a group lunch before a night out. The building faces Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, with Parramatta Station about five minutes away by car and the Church Street restaurant strip and Westfield Parramatta close by. CommBank Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park and the Showgrounds are also a short drive. Secure parking costs $18 per night, can't be reserved ahead and must cover the whole stay. Reception runs until 10pm, and arrivals are accepted up to midnight.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can stay in one apartment?
The three-bedroom apartments sleep up to eight: two queen bedrooms, a third room with two singles, plus two sofa beds. Two-bedroom apartments take up to six and executive one-bedrooms take three. Extra person charges apply once you go past the base number of guests, and the number on your booking confirmation has to be kept to.
Do they take hens and bucks groups?
Yes. The APX groups page lists bucks and hens nights as one of the group stays it caters for, along with birthday weekends, weddings and family reunions, with the appeal being a night out followed by a return to your own apartment. For more than five rooms, the sales team sets the deposit and cancellation terms.
What are the house rules on noise and conduct?
Guests are asked to keep things quiet, especially overnight, and breaking that rule can lead to immediate eviction. Disruptive behaviour towards staff or other guests can also mean eviction without a refund. The building is non-smoking apart from balconies and outdoor areas, with fines of up to $500 for smoking elsewhere, and pets are not allowed.
Is there parking, and how do we get to Parramatta?
There is secure onsite parking at $18 per night, paid at check-in. Spaces depend on availability on arrival, cannot be booked in advance, and must be taken for your entire stay. Parramatta Station is roughly a five-minute drive away, and the hotel can also arrange airport transfers.
What are the check-in times and is there a bond?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is at 10am, with early or late times possible for a fee if available. Reception closes at 10pm, after-hours check-in runs until midnight, and bookings for later arrivals may be cancelled. A security hold of around $200 goes on your credit card and is released after the room is inspected at check-out.
