About Harbour Lodge Chowder Bay
Harbour Lodge is a group accommodation lodge in the historic Chowder Bay precinct at Mosman, run by the Land's Edge Foundation, a not-for-profit outdoor education organisation. Most of its bookings are school camps, sporting teams and corporate retreats, but the lodge also takes private groups of friends, family and colleagues. The key point for a large celebration is that it is sole use: only one group stays at a time, so your group has the whole property to itself. The lodge sleeps up to 83 guests across 11 bunk rooms and 2 double/twin rooms, and every room looks out over the harbour. A large common room seats up to 80 for dinners, speeches or games, and comes with a projector, large screen, sound system and free wifi. Walking tracks lead from the lodge to Taronga Zoo, Balmoral Beach and Headland Park, and the bay itself is good for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding. Mosman's shops, supermarkets and pharmacies are a short drive away. The lodge can be reached by bus, ferry, car or on foot, and public transport is encouraged. Bunk-room layouts and shared facilities suit a big, easygoing group more than one after hotel-style privacy.
