About Woolshed Hill Estate
Woolshed Hill Estate is a country property on Deasys Road in the Pokolbin wine district with three fully self-contained houses: the Residence, the Homestead and the Manor. Between them they hold up to 34 guests in 14 bedrooms, and the houses can be booked on their own or together as the whole estate. That flexibility suits a family reunion, a wedding party or a corporate group, and every group booking is looked after by one nominated staff member from enquiry to departure. The Residence was built from the original woolshed and keeps its timber beams, cathedral ceiling and chandelier. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large upstairs kitchen and dining room with a wrap-around veranda and views over the grounds to the Brokenback Ranges, plus a simpler kitchen and second living room downstairs. The Homestead, in the middle of the property near the pool, has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, two lounges, a fireplace for winter, an enclosed sun room that works well for children and a covered BBQ area, sleeping up to 16. The Manor at the back has three bathrooms including a mobility-assisted shower, an open kitchen and living room with fireplace, and a big balcony with BBQ and dining setting. Guests share a nine-hole pitch and putt course with clubs supplied, a tennis court with racquets and balls, a pool with sun lounges, and footballs and cricket gear. Bring your own pool towels. For weddings, the estate offers lawn ceremonies, dining for up to 50 in the Residence and a marquee site for 50 to 100. Conference groups get a projector and screen and can self-cater or arrange catering. Reception is at 2188 Broke Road, Pokolbin.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can stay?
Up to 34 across the three houses and 14 bedrooms. The Homestead alone takes up to 16 in six bedrooms, and the Residence and the Manor can be booked separately or together with it.
What's the minimum stay?
Two nights for all bookings, and three nights over long weekends.
How do deposits and cancellations work?
A 10% deposit holds the dates, with the rest due a month before arrival. Deposits are refundable up to 14 days out; after that the deposit is forfeited unless the dates can be re-let.
Can we hold a wedding or conference here?
Yes. The estate hosts garden ceremonies, dinners for up to 50 in the Residence's dining room and marquee receptions for 50 to 100 on the lawn. Conference groups can use a projector and screen, with twin-share rooms for up to 20 in individual beds.
What is there to do on site?
There's a nine-hole pitch and putt course with clubs, a tennis court with racquets and balls, a shared pool with sun lounges, a BBQ on each house's veranda, and footballs and cricket gear. A rotisserie or pellet smoker can be arranged for an extra charge.
