About Crown Towers Melbourne
Of the three Crown hotels at Southbank, Crown Towers Melbourne is the five-star one, rising beside the Yarra River with rooms that look out over the city skyline or Port Phillip Bay. It suits guests coming in for a black-tie wedding, a significant birthday or a gala, and Crown's Melbourne events and weddings teams use spaces ranging from villas to a glass-roofed atrium up top, so many guests sleep in the same complex as the celebration. The hotel is fully non-smoking. Deluxe King and Deluxe Twin rooms sit on levels 5 to 18; the twin version has two queen beds, sleeps four and can connect to a neighbouring room. Each has a soaking bath with television, separate shower, double marble vanities and a walk-in dressing room. Executive and Executive Club suites add a separate lounge, and the club rooms include Crystal Club access, where guests get a private check-in desk plus breakfast, afternoon tea and drinks in the evening. For families travelling together, the 154 sqm Tower Suite has a king bedroom, a second room with two king singles, two ensuites and a formal dining area. At the top end, the villas bring butler service, private lifts and up to 264 sqm in the two-bedroom Crystal Villa, with a dining table for six. Flinders Street Station is under five minutes' walk, and the river, the city centre and Southbank's restaurants are on the doorstep. Inside the complex are restaurants such as Nobu and Rockpool, shopping and Crown Spa, home to a 25-metre heated indoor pool and gym for hotel guests. Guests park with the hotel's valet, and electric vehicle charging costs $30 a session for cars staying overnight.
