About Crown Promenade Melbourne
Crown Promenade Melbourne is the most straightforward of Crown's three Southbank hotels: bright, open-plan rooms, good service and the restaurants, bars and shops of the Crown complex right outside the lifts. That makes it an easy base for guests flying in for a wedding, a big birthday or a conference, and Crown's Melbourne events and weddings teams run functions in the same precinct for groups who want everyone close by. Most rooms are 34 sqm with floor-to-ceiling windows, a window seat, a desk and a large walk-in shower. Standard King and Standard Twin rooms suit couples and families, and the twin layout has two queen beds for up to four guests. City View King and Twin rooms on level 16 and above guarantee a skyline outlook, while Corner King rooms have oversized windows on two sides. Studios stretch to 49 sqm with a sofa and big work desk and a 180-degree view toward the city and Docklands. On the top three floors, 70 sqm suites have a separate bedroom, a living and dining room and an oval spa bath. There is also an accessible king room with a larger shower and remote-controlled curtains. The hotel looks over the Yarra River and is about five minutes on foot from Flinders Street Station and the city centre. On level 3, The Deck has a 25-metre infinity spa pool with city views and a gym. Mesh, the hotel's buffet restaurant, serves breakfast, and the cinemas, mini golf and other entertainment in the complex are a short walk inside. Guests can park with the hotel's valet service, and electric vehicle charging costs $30 a session.
