About Melbourne Event Florals
Melbourne Event Florals is a floral and styling studio with a showroom in Bentleigh. It works mainly in premium silk flowers and foliage, sometimes mixed with touches of fresh blooms, which lets the team build large installations that hold their look all day and can be reused, cutting down on waste. The business started as a small hire collection and grew into a full styling studio over more than sixteen years. Today a head stylist leads the design side and a construction lead turns sketches into custom frames and rigged pieces, with concept, construction, styling and pack-down all done in-house. For weddings the studio designs ceremony arbours and statement frames, entrance pieces and aisle flowers, reception centrepieces and tablescapes, ceiling installations with hanging florals and lighting, and flower and foliage walls. Guest experience features include a Champagne tower station, a ring-for-Champagne wall, a magazine-cover photo booth and styled bar backdrops. Private celebrations get the same treatment: backdrops and florals for baby showers, bridal showers, engagements, anniversaries and birthdays, from a single photo wall to a whole-room design. Corporate clients book it for galas, brand activations and venue transformations. Planning happens through relaxed conversations, mood boards and physical mock-ups in the showroom, so clients see exactly what they are getting. Beyond florals, the hire range covers tables, chairs, dance floors, chandeliers, candles, props, arbours and signage, which keeps delivery and set-up with one team.
