H Boutique Hotel is a small, modern hotel on McDonalds Road in Pokolbin, set against the Brokenback Ranges. It suits wedding guests and couples in town for a celebration who want a tidy room with a bit of style, as well as families and friends who'd rather share a villa. Check-in is contactless: a room access code is sent by SMS or email by 2pm on arrival day, so a late drive in isn't a problem. There are five room types. The Standard King Room is a straightforward hotel room with a king bed, bar fridge, tea and coffee, TV and a shower ensuite. The Classic King Studio adds a kitchenette and gas log fireplace. The Family Suite has a king in the bedroom and another in the living room, with a separate sitting area and kitchenette. One- and two-bedroom villas come with a living area, kitchenette, gas log fire and mountain views, and their king beds can be split into singles on request. The Vintage golf course is about a minute away, with Cypress Lakes and Hunter Valley Golf and Country Club a short drive further. Many of the area's restaurants sit within a few minutes' drive, and Hunter Valley Gardens is nearby. Reception staff can book tours and restaurant tables, and pet-friendly rooms can be arranged by phone for a fee.

The Family Suite has a king bed in the bedroom and another in the living room, and the two-bedroom villa has two king bedrooms plus a living and dining area. In both, the kings can be split into singles on request.

How close is it to golf and restaurants?
The Vintage golf course is about a minute away, Cypress Lakes around six minutes and Hunter Valley Golf and Country Club about seven. Most of the Pokolbin restaurants the hotel suggests are between two and seven minutes' drive.
Do the rooms have kitchens?
The studio, Family Suite and villas each have a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, kettle, toaster and bar fridge. The Standard King Room has a bar fridge and tea and coffee making only.
