About The Hamptons Apartments St Kilda
The Hamptons Apartments St Kilda is an apartment hotel run by Corporate Keys, an independent, Australian-owned accommodation company based in Port Melbourne. The building is styled after an American seaside retreat, with white panelling, a chandelier over the reception desk and navy-and-white furnishings throughout. It works well for guests travelling in for a wedding, a milestone birthday or a work trip who want a proper apartment rather than a hotel room, and the staff run a meet-and-greet check-in at any hour. There are three finish levels of both the one-bedroom and the two-bedroom apartments. One-bedroom apartments take two guests and range from about 48 to 60 square metres; the two-bedroom apartments take up to four, with either one bathroom plus a powder room or two full bathrooms, and some come with king beds that split into singles. Each apartment has a stone-bench kitchen with gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher and microwave, a pod coffee machine, a washer and dryer, a smart TV and air conditioning, and some have a 12-square-metre balcony with outdoor dining furniture. The apartments sit just off Carlisle Street, with a supermarket, chemist and bottle shop a few minutes away on foot. Balaclava station is about five minutes from the door, and Sandringham line trains reach Flinders Street in five stops. Tram 16 runs along Carlisle Street to St Kilda Beach, and the SkyBus St Kilda service stops on Carlisle Street. Secure intercom entry, swipe access and a lift serve the building, and free street parking is nearby.

Frequently asked questions
How do guests get into the city for an event?
Balaclava station is about five minutes away, and Sandringham line trains reach Flinders Street in five stops, roughly 13 minutes. Tram 16 runs along Carlisle Street, with Chapel Street, Dandenong Road and St Kilda Road trams also close by.
Which apartment sleeps the most guests?
The two-bedroom apartments sleep up to four guests across two bedrooms, at around 78 to 82 square metres. The deluxe version has two bathrooms and king beds that can split into singles.
Is there parking?
The short-stay apartment listings note that no car space comes with the apartment, but free street parking is readily available nearby. The building does have rear parking, subject to availability.
What time can we check in?
Check-in is from 2pm. Early arrival can be requested but is not guaranteed and may carry a charge, and the team offers a 24/7 meet-and-greet check-in service.
Can we celebrate in the apartment?
No. The apartments are for quiet residential use under a strict no-party policy, and noise must not carry to neighbours between 10pm and 8am. They suit guests staying for an event held elsewhere.
