About Victoria & Albert Guesthouse
The Victoria & Albert Guesthouse stands on Station Street in Mount Victoria, in the Upper Mountains. It is an old guesthouse that has been carefully restored, its rooms filled with antiques, curios and period furnishings. The property sits on six acres of grounds with mature trees and native birdlife. A wrap-around verandah looks out over the mountains, and inside there is a restaurant, a café, a bar, a library, the Victoria Room and an atrium. The guesthouse hosts weddings, garden parties and business events. Its spaces take groups from as small as 6 to as large as 300, so it can handle anything from a family lunch to a full reception. Private celebrations are a big part of the offer. Birthdays, anniversaries and family reunions can be held in the gardens and rooms, and groups of 15 or more can book Christmas lunches. The in-house restaurant cooks bistro-style dishes such as lamb shank, barramundi and eye fillet, with gluten-free and vegetarian options marked. The bar pours cocktails, regional wines, ciders and gins distilled in the Blue Mountains. For meetings and corporate retreats the team sets up the spaces around the group, and more than 20 rooms and suites let guests stay the night. Send an enquiry to talk through dates and numbers.
