About The Old Stables @ LOT 101
LOT 101 is a working farm estate on Peach Tree Road in the Megalong Valley, with a regenerative market garden, an orchard, its own restaurant and bushland cottages. Its main event space is The Old Stables, a timber stable block where horses were kept for around eighty years. The building keeps its original posts and roof trusses, and doors at each end open straight onto the paddock. It is heated and powered, with a kitchen tucked behind the old tack room, and it sits on ground level with no stairs. For a sit-down dinner the stables seat up to 100, and the same number fits for a standing reception or theatre-style seating. The lawn next door takes wedding ceremonies of up to 150. Weddings come with exclusive use of the estate for the day, apart from the Tea Rooms. Most couples marry outdoors on the grass, move on to canapés and drinks around the property, and finish with a seated dinner inside the stables, which keeps the reception dry in any weather. All catering is done in-house, built on what the farm is growing and shaped into a menu for your event. Alcohol is also served in-house, while florists, photographers, celebrants and musicians can be your own choice or drawn from the estate's recommendations. Besides weddings, the stables host milestone birthdays, reunions, team retreats, planning days and group dinners, often paired with a farm tour. The estate restaurant, seating 60, can be booked on its own or combined with the stables, and six cottages sleep 22 between them.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests fit in The Old Stables?
The stables seat up to 100 for dinner, hold 100 for a standing reception and take 100 in theatre-style rows. The adjoining lawn can hold wedding ceremonies of up to 150.
What is included in the venue hire?
Tables and chairs are supplied, and setup and pack-down are handled for you. Catering and event staff are charged separately. If you need a dance floor, extra toilets or AV and meeting gear, these can be hired in. Rates are quoted on enquiry and depend on guest numbers and how much of the estate you take.
Can we bring our own caterer or drinks?
No. Catering is always provided by the estate kitchen using its farm-to-table approach, and alcohol service is also managed in-house. You are free to choose your own florist, photographer, celebrant and music.
Is the venue accessible for guests with limited mobility?
Yes. Parking for guests who find walking difficult is available near The Old Stables and the restaurant. Neither building has steps, as both sit at ground level.
Can guests stay overnight at the estate?
Yes. Six Werriberri cottages, a short walk from the stables, sleep 22 people in total. Ask about holding the cottages for your group when you send an enquiry.
