About Veriu Broadway

Veriu Broadway sits in a heritage federation warehouse on Mountain Street in Ultimo that once worked as a leather tannery. The conversion kept the exposed brick, timber and concrete and turned the building into apartment-style suites, each with its own kitchen. For someone coming to Sydney for a wedding, a milestone birthday or a work event, it means somewhere with more room than a standard hotel room, and the option to make breakfast or keep drinks cold between events. Suites start at 38 square metres for up to three guests. The Quad Suite takes up to five, the Loft Suite is split over two levels, and the 60 square metre Penthouse Suite has two bedrooms, a balcony across its full width and views of the city skyline. Families or friends staying together can book the adjoining suites: two separate suites sharing an entrance, with two bathrooms and two kitchens, reaching 104 square metres and six guests in the Superior Two Bedroom version. Suites come with a full-size fridge, cooktop and cookware, and most also have a washer and dryer, a dishwasher and a balcony. Location is the main draw for event guests. Broadway Shopping Centre is about 220 metres away, Central Park Mall around 500 metres, and ICC Sydney and Central Station each a little over 900 metres on foot, with Darling Harbour and the CBD a short hop beyond. Guests who drive can park at Broadway Shopping Centre on a discounted 24-hour exit ticket bought at reception. The hotel also lends complimentary bikes and runs a cafe, The Hide, in the building.

Every suite has a kitchen with cooktop, full-size fridge, cookware and a kettle, plus free wifi, air conditioning and a smart TV, and most suites include a washer and dryer. Bag storage is available on arrival and departure days. Free portacots and high chairs if requested the day before. One child under three stays free in existing beds. Pets are allowed for a fee under Veriu's pet terms. The building is non-smoking, including balconies, and smoking attracts a $500 cleaning fee. Guests under 18 must be with an adult.
