About The Ultimo
The Ultimo is a 121-room hotel in a heritage-listed building from 1911 on Ultimo Road, Haymarket, run by EVT under its Independent Collection. The renovation kept the exposed brick and big windows and added pale tiles and new furnishings. For a visitor coming to Sydney for a wedding, a birthday dinner or a conference, it is a well-priced, central room with a 24-hour front desk, and ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour and the eateries of Chinatown are all within walking distance. There are nine room types. The Ultimo Single (8 square metres) is for one, while the Queen and King rooms, and the new Deluxe King with a true king bed and a Juliet balcony, take two. The Ultimo Trio has a queen plus a single for three. For four people there is the Ultimo Studio, 26 square metres with a king and a sofa bed, and the Ultimo Family, with a king zip bed and two singles. An Accessible Queen and the Ultimo Premium Suite round out the list. Rooms have ensuites, air conditioning, a mini fridge, a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee, and wifi is free. Central Station is eight minutes away on foot, and the Paddy's Markets light rail stop three. From the airport, the Airport Link train reaches Central in around 15 minutes, or it is about 20 minutes by car. The hotel has no car park, but guests can use the Wilson car park at 169-179 Thomas Street and pay for it at reception.

Not on site. The hotel points guests to the undercover Wilson car park on Thomas Street (numbers 169-179), which charges $38 for 24 hours and lets you come and go freely; pay and validate the ticket at hotel reception before leaving.
What are check-in and check-out times, and can I arrive late?
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, so a late flight is not a problem.
