About Lake St Terrace @ Warners Bay Hotel
Warners Bay Hotel sits on John Street in the middle of the Warners Bay shopping strip, a short walk from the shore of Lake Macquarie. Its function side trades as Lake St Terrace, a dining and cocktail space with its own mezzanine level. The mezzanine was designed with events in mind and can be booked as a whole floor for 50 to more than 200 guests. It can also be divided into named areas such as Lake St Lane, Lake St Corner, Postman's Corner, Postman's Lounge and Postman's Balcony, which take groups from about 20 up to 120. The room is lined with timber and brick under an exposed industrial ceiling, with pendant lights over long dining tables. A bar backed by a tall wall of bottles and green tiles runs along one side, and the area you book is reserved for your group alone. Menus come in two broad styles: structured sit-down dining, or a cocktail spread of canapés and share platters. The two can be combined, and the kitchen will tailor dishes for guests with dietary needs. Drinks are drawn from a long list of wine, spirits and cocktails. A dedicated functions team works through the details with you, from menu choice to how the space is set. The hotel hosts weddings, engagement parties, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, corporate meetings, product launches and networking events.
