About Springwood Sports Club
Springwood Sports Club is a community club on Macquarie Road in Springwood, in the Lower Mountains. It sits a flat walk from the railway station, with open and undercover parking and lift access. Alongside its events business it runs Gather, a casual dining room, plus a bar, a TAB lounge, a sunny terrace and barefoot bowls greens. Functions run across four rooms and a boardroom. Function Rooms 1 and 2 can be booked separately or opened into one larger space, which the club lists at up to 160 for a cocktail party or 120 at round tables of ten. The Macquarie Room is a smaller option that can be paired with its own balcony, a private outdoor area with plants and fresh air. An events coordinator plans each booking, and the team can theme and decorate the room, then pack down afterwards. Rooms have ceiling projectors with screens, wireless microphones and free guest wifi, and a sound system is on hand for formals and parties. Food comes from the club's own chefs, who adjust menus for dietary needs. Choices include buffets, two or three plated courses, canapés by the piece, grazing, taco, barbecue and dessert stations, high tea and working-lunch platters. For drinks, hosts can run a bar tab on the day, add a private bar team, or choose a classic beverage package of four or five hours. Send an enquiry to book a venue tour or check dates with the coordinator.

Absolutely fantastic club. Great staff and food is nice and good value. Drinks could be more club than pub prices. Loved a feed and watching the trains go by. We will be back.

Great location, easy to get to and has a good variety on the menu. My go to is the Mediterranean plate! Trivia night on Wednesdays are great! All the usual - pokies, function rooms, meat tray raffles.

Good menu however meals were too oily (pumpkin ravioli and chicken schnitzel)

First time here. Chips stone cold on both meals. Chicken burger “special” for ~$27, very small serving. Butcher board underwhelming to say the least. Needs more tables inside to sit at. Pokies looked new. Bathrooms nice…
