About Blue Mountains Fire Pits
Blue Mountains Fire Pits sits at 2 Peninsula Road in Valley Heights, in the Lower Mountains. It is a café, cocktail bar and event space under one roof, with a metal workshop on the same site where the steel fire pits are made by hand. The main dining hall is lined with the workshop's own pieces, including fire pit borders with detailed cut metalwork. There is a marble-topped bar with taps and hanging glassware, a cosier dining nook, and a covered outdoor deck set up for eating around real wood fires. The whole venue can be hired for a private function, with seating for up to 150 guests. The venue names birthdays, engagements, weddings and corporate functions among the events it hosts, and the fires make it a strong pick for cooler mountain evenings. On a normal week the kitchen covers breakfast and lunch daily, with a dinner menu called Inferno on Friday and Saturday nights. That menu leans on share starters and hearty mains such as slow-cooked brisket, scotch fillet and pork ribs, and the printed menus mark gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy free dishes. The bar pours house cocktails, local and imported wine, tap beer and a range of mocktails and alcohol-free beers. Friday and Saturday evenings usually bring free live music by local acts. Function pricing isn't published, so send an enquiry with your date, guest numbers and the kind of event you have in mind, and the team will come back with options.
