About Arrana
Arrana is a fine-dining restaurant on Macquarie Road in Springwood, in the Lower Blue Mountains. Its kitchen, led by executive chef Daniel Cabban, builds each course around Australian native ingredients, many of them grown or foraged locally. The restaurant is one intimate dining room, set up for seated meals rather than standing events. It seats around 40 in everyday service, and for a private occasion the whole room can be reserved for exclusive use. Exclusive bookings need at least 30 guests and can take up to 45. Arrana pitches these for big birthdays, hens celebrations, corporate dinners and weddings, and its team works with you to shape the event around your group. Groups dine on the degustation menus: the four-course Darrbi menu is $150 per person and the seven-course Marri menu is $190 per person. Larger groups can choose either at lunch, while evening groups take the seven-course menu, and vegetarian and vegan versions are offered for guests who flag their needs ahead. The bar is fully licensed, with cocktails, beer, cider, spirits and a wine list leaning on Australian producers, including local Mountains drops and vegan wines. Each menu can be matched with wines or with an alcohol-free pairing. Arrana does not cater for children under 12 and asks guests to dress smart casual. A deposit secures larger group bookings, and private functions on a Sunday carry a 10% surcharge; send an enquiry to start planning.
