About Springwood Country Club
Springwood Country Club is a golf and social club on Hawkesbury Road in Springwood, in the Lower Blue Mountains. The clubhouse sits above an 18-hole course, with squash courts, a pro shop and the Citrus Grill bistro on site. The club runs three spaces for private events. The Ellison Room is the main room, seating 100 or holding 150 for a cocktail-style party, and comes with its own bar, a dance floor, toilets, a sound system and lighting, plus a projector for presentations. The Balcony takes up to 40 seated or 50 standing and looks out over the course, which suits brunches, milestone birthdays and smaller get-togethers. The Dining Room adds room for 20 seated or 30 standing when a group needs a little more space. All function catering comes from the Citrus Grill kitchen. Choose a two or three course alternate-drop dinner, a hot and cold buffet, or a barbecue spread, and add platters of cheese, deli meats or party food as needed. Dietary needs are talked through with the functions coordinator, and gluten-free meals cost a little extra. For drinks, hosts can set a bar tab with a spending limit or let guests buy their own at the clubhouse bar. Outside food and alcohol are not allowed, though a celebration cake can be brought in with approval. The club hosts birthdays, weddings, corporate days, baby showers and other gatherings, and functions can run until 1am. A $150 deposit holds the date, and an events coordinator helps with planning and on the day.
