About Bowery
Bowery is a restaurant and cocktail bar on Waratah Street in Katoomba, set inside the old St Andrew's church hall. Behind the sandstone front it serves brunch, lunch and dinner, and it takes weddings, conferences and corporate events. The dining hall has a botanical feel, with bookcases full of collectables, curios and plant artwork drawn from the mountains. Outside, a leafy courtyard with umbrellas works for ceremonies, pre-dinner drinks and canapés. The main dining room fits up to 60 guests and still leaves space for a band and a dance floor. Exclusive use covers the dining hall and courtyard for five hours. Food is built around sharing, with long banquet tables where plates are passed around. Groups can also choose a plated three-course menu served alternately or a canapé menu, and most dietary needs can be met. The bar pours cocktails, craft beers, locally distilled spirits and wines mostly from regional makers. Drinks can be arranged as a package or charged on consumption, and BYO is not allowed. The in-house music system, with microphone and speakers, is free to use. Drinks are served until 9.45pm, amplified music stops at 10pm and guests leave by 10.30pm.

The complete wedding package is $10,000 for 50 guests, with extra guests at $180 per person. Build-your-own menus run from $90 per person for the set menu to $95 per person for the share menu or shared banquet.
A $2,000 deposit, credited to the final bill, secures the date and is due within 7 days of confirmation. Full payment is due 7 days before the event.
Food
Canapé menus are also available. Most dietary needs can be catered for, with final numbers and dietaries due 7 days before the event.
Beverages
A four-hour premium package is $70 per person and a platinum package with Champagne is $95 per person. Drinks can also be charged on consumption, and BYO is not permitted.
