About The Woolshed by Fine Spun
The Woolshed is the wedding venue of Fine Spun Group, a catering and events business on the Princes Highway at Yallah. The same building houses Fine Spun's daytime café, and its team looks after both the food and the planning for every reception. The building keeps its working-shed character, with old hardwood beams overhead, aged corrugated iron walls and two open fireplaces. Ambient lighting runs through the whole building, and strings of fairy lights hang across the ceiling for evening receptions. The rustic auditorium seats up to 200 guests, the café holds up to 70 and the private rooms suit up to 50. Venue hire includes five hours in the auditorium along with use of the café and a private bridal room. Couples start by picking how the meal is served – plated, a shared banquet or canapés – and match it with a beverage package. Tableware, crockery, glassware, linen napkins and votive candles on rustic log runners are part of the hire, as are easels, hanging frames, a wooden LOVE sign and a wishing well. Ceremonies can also be arranged through the team ahead of the reception. A personal wedding coordinator guides each couple from the first tour through to the night itself, so the menu, styling and timing are handled in one place.
