About Diamond Room @ Diamonds Reception Centre
Diamonds Reception Centre is the function venue of Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club, on Jason Avenue in Barrack Heights. It sits beside Little Lake and the beach, with Barrack Point Holidays next door for guests who want to stay close by. Of its four private rooms, the Diamond Room is the one with the most space. It faces landscaped grounds and the ocean, has a balcony that wraps around the outside, and seats up to 200 guests, with a stage built into the room and a generous dance floor. For larger events, the wall between the Diamond Room and the Sapphire Room can be taken out, giving a combined space for 250. Every function room is air-conditioned and can be reached by a passenger lift or the stairs. Function packages are built around a plated menu or a buffet. They include five hours in the room, white linen with a choice of napkin colour, round tables, a dressed cake and gift table, a microphone and sparkling wine for toasts, while antipasto platters, hot and cold canapés, balloons, chair covers and beverage packages can be added. The venue also hosts weddings, with ceremonies at a lakeside gazebo or the Diamond Point Arbour before the reception inside. A DJ, or a DJ and MC, can be booked for five hours, and the functions manager helps plan each event from the first enquiry onward.
