About Perouse Randwick
Perouse Randwick is a small boutique hotel run by Sydney Lodges, a family-owned Randwick operator. It suits the event guest who needs a clean, well-kept hotel room rather than a whole apartment: a couple in town for a wedding at Royal Randwick, a colleague down for a conference in the city, or relatives visiting for a birthday. The Spot, the local dining strip, is just around the corner, and the hospitals sit across the road. Rooms are compact and each has its own ensuite, split-system air conditioning, a smart TV, a work desk, a small bar fridge, tea and coffee and free fibre Wi-Fi when you book direct. Choose from a 12 m² small double, 13 m² queen and lower-ground king rooms, a 15 m² twin that can be made up as a king, or an 18 m² king. The one apartment is 30 m², with a queen bedroom, a living area with a double sofa bed and a kitchenette with a stove and microwave. Three rooms are wheelchair accessible, and a lift serves every floor. Guests also share a kitchen and a laundry, both open 8 am to 8 pm, and a courtyard with outdoor seating. The light rail stop is about two minutes' walk away and the L2 takes 30 to 40 minutes to the city, with the ICC and CBD venues reachable that way. Buses 372, 373, 376 and 377 run to the CBD in 20 to 30 minutes, and bus 400 comes direct from the airport, while a taxi from the airport takes 15 to 25 minutes. Royal Randwick is close by, and Coogee Beach and the coastal walk are within walking distance. Parking on site is very limited and cannot be reserved, so most drivers use the Wilson car park on St Paul Street, about five minutes away on foot.

Can I book several rooms for wedding guests?

Is there parking?
Only a few on-site spaces, allocated first come, first served, and they can't be reserved. The hotel points guests to the Wilson car park at 49-55 St Paul Street, about five minutes on foot, or the Metro car park at the Prince of Wales Hospital.
What if we arrive after reception closes?
Reception is open 8 am to 8 pm every day. Check-in starts at 2 pm and check-out is at 10 am. Arriving later is fine: let the hotel know your arrival time and it will send late-arrival instructions, and your room code opens the front door once reception has closed.
