Elysium Manly, formerly the Manly Pacific, is a 213-room hotel on North Steyne facing Manly Beach. It also has its own event spaces, including the 500-guest Pacific Ballroom, the Fairy Bower room and a terrace at Cibaria, so it makes sense for guests travelling to a wedding, milestone birthday or conference held in the building or elsewhere in Manly. The hotel has a magnesium rooftop pool facing the ocean, an infrared sauna, Cibaria's all-day Italian restaurant and the 55 North bar. Rooms are finished in light oak with terrazzo or tiled bathrooms, and most have a balcony or terrace. Village rooms look over Manly's streets, Sunset View rooms face west and Atrium rooms open onto a private balcony; Ocean View rooms look straight out to sea, and the Ocean View Terraces add 32 square metres of outdoor space. Twins have two queen beds. For families, the Atrium, Sunset View and Ocean View Two Bedrooms join a king room and a twin; the Coastal Two Bedroom Suite sleeps four, and the Coastal Three Bedroom Suite, at 103 square metres, sleeps eight. Rooms have a smart TV, a Nespresso machine and blackout curtains. From the city, catch a train to Circular Quay, take the 20-minute Manly ferry, then walk about 8 to 10 minutes along the Corso. By car from Sydney Airport it is roughly 40 to 50 minutes, and the VIP Services team can arrange a private transfer. The hotel has self-parking and valet, with a 2.1 metre height limit.
