About JIMKET Events

JIMKET Events is a Sydney planning and design studio led by founder Jimmy, who has been designing events for more than ten years. The team plans, designs, produces, styles and coordinates events, and is known for transforming whole rooms: suspended florals and draping, rows of chandeliers, sculpted lighting, mirrored floors and custom stages. Weddings are the bulk of the portfolio, and JIMKET has been named among the top wedding planners in Australia, but the studio lists a much wider range of events. It takes on birthdays, engagements, christenings, holy communions and confirmations, bar mitzvahs, bridal showers, proposals, anniversary dinners and corporate events. The gallery includes a bold birthday set-up with a balloon installation and colourful floral banks, and a christening-style celebration with a monogrammed backdrop and long table of garden flowers. Clients can book the full service, from planning and production through to on-the-day coordination, or engage JIMKET for event styling and design only. The work is custom rather than packaged, so it suits hosts planning a large or formal celebration in a function venue or ballroom who want the room to look designed from floor to ceiling. How We Work

JIMKET works one-on-one with each client, starting from their vision and budget and building a custom design for the event. Jimmy and his team keep in regular contact through the planning with catch-ups, calls and inspiration images. The studio can take on the full job, including planning, production and styling, or just the design and styling. On the day the team installs the styling and coordinates the event so the host doesn't have to.
