About Corunna Station
Corunna Station is a 100-acre rural property on Hermitage Road in Belford, at the edge of Hunter Valley wine country. It began life as a sheep station in 1880, and the original Shearing Shed, Hay Shed and Wood Mill still stand on the land. Owners Angela and Gerard Kesby hire the property for micro weddings and elopements. Couples take over the whole estate privately, with ceremony spots such as the old oak tree beside The Homestead and the weathered sheds as backdrops for photos. The guest limit is 22, which matches the beds across the three houses. The Cook's House sleeps four, The Homestead sleeps six and The Country House takes 10 to 12, so the wedding party can stay on site for the whole weekend. There are no set packages. Hire is dry, so couples bring their own caterer, celebrant, stylist, florist and music, and the station shares a list of local suppliers it has worked with. The house kitchens are well equipped for visiting chefs. Drinks are BYO, and RSA-trained staff can be arranged to serve them. Lawn games, platters and quiet time on the verandahs suit the slower pace of a small wedding. The setting suits couples who want a small, unhurried wedding rather than a large reception. Frequently asked questions
How many guests can Corunna Station host for a wedding?
Micro weddings and elopements are capped at 22 guests. That number matches the beds across The Cook's House, The Homestead and The Country House when all three are booked together.
Does Corunna Station offer wedding packages?
No. The property is hired dry with no fixed packages, so couples bring in their own suppliers and plan the day their way. The station can share its list of local celebrants, caterers, stylists, florists and photographers.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes. Beverages are BYO, and RSA-qualified staff can be arranged to serve them on the day if you would like.
Where can the ceremony be held on the property?
Couples have married under the oak tree near The Homestead, and the old shearing and hay sheds, paddocks and views to the Brokenback Range are used as settings for photos.
Is Corunna Station available midweek?
Yes. The station takes both weekend weddings, where guests stay over across the three houses, and midweek elopements. Send an enquiry to check dates.
