About The Sands Receptions
The Sands Receptions is an event room on Junction Road at Shellharbour North Beach, next door to Shellharbour Surf Club. It shares the site with The Sands Kiosk, a casual beachside eatery run by the same team. Inside, a long run of glass opens the room to the ocean, and high ceilings with a bright, modern fit-out keep it feeling light. Guests are only a few steps from the sand, which makes it easy to slip outside for photos between courses. The venue is sized for small to medium events. It seats up to 100 guests for a sit-down meal and holds 140 for a cocktail or stand-up party. Packages are all-inclusive and priced on a per-head basis, with food prepared by the venue's in-house catering team. The Sands is fully licensed, so drinks are served on site as part of the event. Weddings, milestone birthdays and anniversaries are all hosted here, along with corporate meetings, seminars, training and team-building days. The staff look after the details on the day, and a celebrations package can be requested when you enquire.
