About Coach and Horses Hotel

The Coach and Horses Hotel is a heritage-listed pub on Avoca Street at Randwick Junction, trading since the mid-1800s. Its brick corner building holds a bistro, a public bar and a beer garden, and it runs function bookings alongside its everyday trade. For parties there are two areas to choose from when you enquire: the Lounge Bar and the Red Room. The Red Room has deep red walls, timber floors and leather lounges, giving a group its own corner of the pub. The pub hosts engagements, birthdays, work functions, office parties and farewells, large or small. No capacity is published for either area, so include your guest numbers in your enquiry. Food comes from the pub's own kitchen, and you can pick canapés, share platters or the regular menu. Platters are priced individually, with options such as dips with flatbread, mini pies, sausage rolls, chicken wings, sushi, sliders, mini tacos, satay skewers and charcuterie, plus dessert platters and sides like chips and onion rings. Each platter is a single item rather than a mix, and the menu flags vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. Some dishes are only made gluten-free on request, so share dietary needs when you order. To plan a function, send an enquiry with your date, time, guest numbers, the type of event, your preferred area and the food you have in mind.
