About Ultimate Apartments Bondi Beach
Ultimate Apartments Bondi Beach is a two-level block of self-contained accommodation on O'Brien Street, in the village behind Sydney's best-known beach. It describes itself as a residential property rather than a hotel, and keeps its prices down by leaving out a daily maid, room service, a restaurant and a concierge. For a guest flying in for a wedding, a milestone birthday or a family gathering in the eastern suburbs, that means a practical base with a kitchenette, a car space and the beach close by. Most of the property is 44 studios shaped like a hotel room bent into an L, each with its own ensuite, with the bed at one end and a lounge and kitchenette at the other. Queen and twin studios take two people, with a sofa bed for a third at extra cost, while the family studios are about 40% bigger, with a queen and a single for three plus a sofa bed for a fourth. There are also two 2-bedroom apartments, each with a queen room, a room with two singles and a full kitchen for three or four, and one 3-bedroom apartment with two queen rooms and a twin room that takes four as standard and five at most. Apartments have air-conditioning, Foxtel and an iron, and the grounds include a pool with a sun deck, a coin laundry and a roof terrace for drying clothes. The beach is about seven minutes on foot, and the 389 bus stops at the door on its way to Bondi Junction, Kings Cross and the city. Bondi Junction station is around 2km away, the CBD roughly 20 minutes by car and the airport about 35. A shuttle bus to the airport collects from outside and can be booked once you arrive. Each apartment has one free off-street car space.

How do I get to the city and the airport from here?
The 389 bus stops right outside and runs to Bondi Junction station, Kings Cross and the city, including Circular Quay. By car the CBD is about 20 minutes away and the airport about 35, traffic permitting. A shuttle bus to the airport picks up from out the front and can be booked after you arrive.
Can we book several apartments for a wedding group?
Yes. Social groups travelling for weddings and similar occasions are welcome, though sporting groups are not accepted. The property can't promise your apartments will sit side by side, but it will try, and because it is a two-level block rather than a tower, the rooms are all fairly close together. There are no special rates for booking several rooms.
Is parking included?
Yes. Every apartment is guaranteed one secure off-street car space at no extra charge, and for the larger apartments it sits directly outside your door.
What if I arrive late at night?
Check-in starts at 1pm. The property agent's desk is staffed until 6pm on weekdays, 4pm on Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays, and there is no 24-hour reception. Guests arriving after hours follow a self check-in process, so let the team know beforehand. Check-out is by 10am, and a later departure is only possible if nobody is booked into the apartment that day.
What is the largest apartment, and can I get a cot?
The 3-bedroom apartment has two queen bedrooms, a room with two single beds and a full kitchen. It takes four guests as standard, with a fifth as an optional extra. Children aged three and under stay free, and portable cots can be ordered for any apartment at $5 for each day.

Lovely staff and super clean. Comfortable beds, the rooms are nice and private with good tv’s, helpful to have the kitchen with all the utensils you need. The shower was nice and spacious. I would stay again!:)
