Meriton Suites Mascot Central is the practical pick for wedding and party guests whose trip starts or ends with a flight. It sits on Jackson Drive in Mascot, next to the domestic terminal side of the airport, about ten minutes by car or a single stop on the train. Guest Services is staffed around the clock, so a late landing or a 5am departure is no drama, and the hotel runs an airport shuttle to both terminals for a fee. This is a one-bedroom property: every suite sleeps two, so it suits couples and solo travellers rather than families sharing a unit. The Standard and 1 Bedroom King Suites are 53 square metres with a king bed; the 1 Bedroom Twin Suite on levels 4 to 8 has two beds for friends sharing; and the 58 square metre Aero Suites on levels 8 to 14 overlook the runways. Accessible one-bedroom suites are also offered. Each has a kitchen (big fridge, coffee machine), a lounge and an internal laundry, and guests can use the pool, spa, steam room, gym, rooftop terrace and a plane-spotting observation deck. The Meriton Retail Precinct downstairs has a Woolworths and La Bufala restaurant. Trains from Mascot Station reach the city in minutes for events in the CBD, and Ice Zoo in Alexandria is about 650 metres away. Undercover parking is $40 per vehicle per night, with its entry a little past the hotel driveway on Jackson Drive, with number-plate recognition and paid EV charging.

Parking is $40 per vehicle per night and the airport shuttle carries a fee. Cots cost $11 a night including linen, and highchairs are free. Undercover parking on site is $40 per vehicle per night. Drive in off Jackson Drive a little beyond the hotel driveway; clearance is 2.1m. Register your number plate with reception so the recognition system lets you in and out, and EV charging is available for a fee.
