About The Pretty Table
The Pretty Table started life in 2014 under the name Pretty Pedestals, renting out distinctive cake stands and serving ware for dessert tables. Director Lisa then struggled to find the tableware she wanted for her own wedding in a marquee, so the range expanded to take in dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, linen and decor, and in 2020 the business was renamed. It works out of a showroom and warehouse in Pendle Hill and supplies weddings, work events, christenings, engagements, dinner parties, baby showers, children's parties and birthdays. The simplest option is a tableware package, which groups everything for a single place setting and knocks 10% off the individual prices. For $10.80 per person, the classic white two-course setting gives you a tumbler, a wine glass, three pieces of cutlery, and a dinner plate and dessert plate, while $6.84 per person gets you a pink one-course setting. Coupe, speckled and beaded ranges are priced slightly higher. If you'd rather choose each item, there are chargers, coloured glasses, cutlery in gold, black or copper, tablecloths, napkins and runners, and for styling there are vases, candle holders, table lamps, cake stands, champagne towers and small furniture like cake tables. You order by building a wishlist, and within 48 hours the team comes back to confirm what's available and the final price. Dry hire costs nothing extra: pick up from Pendle Hill on Thursday and drop it back on Monday. Delivery and pick-up are priced by distance and order size and carry a minimum spend, and the service extends to the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, South Coast, Hunter Valley and Central Coast. Washing of linen is included. For weekends in spring and autumn, book three to six months ahead.

What does a tableware package include?
Everything for one place setting, all matching. In the classic two-course package that's a tumbler and a wine glass, a dessert spoon, a main knife and fork, and plates for dinner and dessert. There are also one-course and three-course versions, and the package price has the 10% discount built in.
How much does it cost per guest?
A classic white two-course package is $10.80 per person, and the lowest price for a pink one-course setting is $6.84 per person. The premium dinnerware ranges are dearer. Chargers, napkins, tablecloths and other extras are also 10% off when you add them to a package.
Can I pick up the order myself?
Yes, and there's no charge for it. You collect from the Pendle Hill warehouse on Thursday and return on Monday, so you have the items for six days. It works best for smaller orders.
Do they deliver outside Sydney?
Yes. As well as Sydney, they deliver to and collect from the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, South Coast, Hunter Valley and Central Coast, and those regional runs carry a larger minimum spend. They don't send glassware or tableware interstate.
How far ahead should I book?
Aim for three to six months out, particularly in autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November). Orders placed about a week before can often still be filled, and if something you want is booked they'll suggest a substitute.
