About Kith Hotel Darling Harbour

Kith Hotel is a small independent hotel on Murray Street in Pyrmont, on the western edge of Darling Harbour. It keeps things simple: no restaurant or room service, but clean, modern rooms, a lift, luggage storage and a team at the desk who will point you towards local cafes and dinner spots. It suits a couple or a solo traveller in town for a wedding, a birthday dinner or a few days of conference sessions who mainly needs a comfortable bed close to the action. Rooms are compact and built for one or two guests. The Petite Queen and Petite Twin are 13 square metres, the Standard Queen runs 15 to 18, and the Standard Queen with Balcony 18 to 21. The Queen Plus+ room adds daily snacks, a pass to Plus Fitness Pyrmont and a midday check-out, and there is a 19 square metre accessible room. Each has an ensuite, air conditioning, a Samsung TV, a mini fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee, and an iron. There are no family rooms or apartments, so bigger groups will need several rooms. The location is the reason to stay. Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney and the Sydney Fish Market are all close by and the CBD is a walk away. Convention light rail stop is reached through level 1 of the Wilson car park across the street, Pyrmont Bay Wharf has ferries to Circular Quay, and buses on Harris Street run to Central and Bondi. There is no on-site parking, but guests get a discounted 24-hour ticket for the Harbourside Wilson car park opposite.

Check-out is 10am. The front desk is open 8am to 11pm, with an after-hours phone line. Rooms include an ensuite, air conditioning, a Samsung TV, a mini fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee, an iron, a hair dryer and a safe, and a portable heater on request. Free wifi throughout. No room service, but there's a mini-bar menu. Luggage storage is available. The whole property, balconies included, is non-smoking and smoking forfeits the damage deposit. A false fire alarm caused by a guest incurs a $1,000 fee. Loud or rowdy behaviour on the room floors can lead to eviction without a refund.

There's no on-site parking. The Harbourside Wilson car park is directly across the street, and reception sells a 24-hour single exit ticket at a guest rate (listed at $65 on the homepage, $60 on the FAQ page). Parking overnight without the ticket is $85.

What if I arrive after the front desk closes?

The front desk is staffed 8am to 11pm. If you're arriving later, let the hotel know in advance and call the after-hours number, 07 4229 9304, when you get there. Key cards open the main door and lift after hours.

What time is check-out, and can I stay later?

Standard check-out is 10am. Booking direct on the hotel website includes a free 11am check-out and early check-in when a room is ready. Luggage storage is available either side of your stay.
