About Meriton Suites Kent Street
Meriton Suites Kent Street occupies a Harry Seidler-designed tower at the southern end of the CBD, and it works well for people flying or driving in for a wedding, a milestone birthday or a work function in the city. Every suite is self-contained, with an oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge and its own washer and dryer, so a group staying several nights isn't eating out for every meal. A lounge for early arrivals means you can drop bags and freshen up before the room is ready. Studios measure 38 to 42 square metres and take two people, with a balcony version available. One-bedroom suites sit at around 50 square metres, while the two-bedroom suites (87 to 93 square metres) sleep four and each have a pair of full bathrooms; the Darling Suites on levels 45 to 49 face Darling Harbour. For a family travelling together, the three-bedroom Altitude Suite on the top floor sleeps six in 147 square metres, and the three-bedroom Summit Penthouse spreads over three levels and 215 square metres. Guests share an indoor pool, spa, sauna and gym. World Square is about two minutes away on foot and Hyde Park around seven. The hotel names Town Hall as its nearby station, and Museum station is roughly 450 metres off, which is the stop to use by train from the airport; by car the airport is about 20 minutes. Among the venues the hotel lists are ICC Sydney, the Opera House and the Capitol, Lyric and State theatres. Undercover parking costs $45 per vehicle per night, with EV charging on site for a fee.
