About Flamingo Flare Events Styling & Catering
Flamingo Flare is an event styling and catering business run by childhood friends Cassie, the lead stylist, and Corryne Parkhill, the head chef. They work from an office and warehouse in Toronto and style weddings, corporate events, engagement parties, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, christenings and proposals. For weddings, the team styles ceremonies and receptions with table settings, statement pieces, drapery for ceilings, walls and backdrops, fairy light installations and silk flower hire. Corporate work is designed around a company's brand, from concept through to pack-down, and a rendering service shows you how the room will look before the day. Balloon work is custom rather than standard. Garlands are built on site, never pre-made, and are combined with silk florals, velvet bows and layered textures. The faux flowers are real-touch silk and velvet blooms, arranged to your colour palette. If you would rather style it yourself, hire packages pair premium backdrops and plinths with florals made for your event, and single backdrops, arches and plinths can be hired too. Items can be collected from the Toronto warehouse or delivered and installed. Catering covers a cocktail menu of canapes and grazing pieces, two or three course alternate drop dining, shared feast platters, custom themed menus and food bars such as sweets, charcuterie and hot chips. What is the difference between styling, event hire and dry hire?
With styling, the team designs the look with you. With event hire, you choose items and they deliver and set them up. With dry hire, you collect from the warehouse and style it yourself.
Are the flowers real?
No. Arrangements use premium faux flowers in silk, velvet and real-touch textures, made to your inspiration photos and colours. They last all day and night without wilting.
Do they only do balloon garlands?
Balloon installs are custom and large-scale, built on site and always combined with other styling such as florals and backdrops. For a plain standard garland, the team will recommend someone else.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. Minimum spends depend on the service, with dry hire lower than delivered event hire and full design and styling the highest. Send an enquiry and the team will confirm the figure for your event.
What kind of catering do they offer?
A cocktail menu of canapes and grazing pieces, two or three course alternate drop meals, feast platters for sharing, custom themed menus and food bars, with dietary requirements catered for.
