About Fairy Tale Event Collective
Fairy Tale Event Collective is an event styling and planning business based in Teralba, led by designer Shilpa Jacob. The team designs and installs balloon installations, florals, backdrops and full room styling for weddings, milestone birthdays, baby showers, christenings, bridal showers, proposals and corporate celebrations. Styling comes in three packages. The Starter suits small birthdays and baby showers, with a 2m balloon garland in your colours, a painted arch and a short vinyl sign. The Signature adds a longer garland, a second arch and one extra styled zone such as an entry display or light-up numbers. The Luxe covers multi-zone set-ups with a 4m to 6m garland, three arches and up to three extra zones, including a cake or dessert table and a gift area. Add-ons such as balloon centrepieces, floor clusters, foil balloons, cut-outs and guest table styling can be layered onto a package. For something completely different, the team quotes custom concept designs, and they are happy to visit your venue first to plan the space. On larger jobs the planning goes further. For one event of 500 guests, the team mapped an indoor sports court with mock-up floor plans before transforming it in seven hours on the day. Every package includes pack-down and collection. What is in the Starter styling package?
A 2m balloon garland in your choice of colours, one painted arch, a basic vinyl sign of up to three words and pack-down. Set-up takes about an hour and a half.
Can I hire items and style the event myself?
Yes. Backdrops, signage, plinths, balloon garlands and props can be hired for DIY set-ups. Pieces marked as not for hire are only used in the team's own styling.
How far ahead should I book?
The team suggests at least four to eight weeks ahead, and three months or more for large or detailed events, because custom pieces and colour-matched stock take time to source.
How is a booking secured?
Once you accept the quote, an invoice is issued and a 20 per cent deposit confirms the date. Full payment is due before the event, as set out in the booking terms.
Will the team visit the venue first?
Yes. Site visits are offered so the team can check the space, ceiling height and access before finalising the design and the set-up plan.
