About Mount Eliza Country Club
Mount Eliza Country Club is a members' club on Old Mornington Road, set in well-kept gardens with parking at the front and rear. Since 1956 it has doubled as a function venue for the public, and the club charges no venue hire fee. The function room is large and flexible, with a parquet dance floor in front of an open wood fire, a dartboard and a pool table. It holds up to 120 guests standing or 80 seated, and a wide outdoor deck adds space on warmer days. Bar tables, stools, dining tables and chairs are set out to your layout, and reverse-cycle heating and cooling keep the room comfortable. A PA system, radio microphone and video projection are available for speeches and slideshows. Hosts can cater themselves in the commercial kitchen or bring in a caterer of their choice. Drinks come only from the club bar, which stocks a wide range of beer, wine and spirits and is run by the club's bar stewards, so BYO drinks are not allowed. A refundable deposit of $500 applies, or $800 for 21sts and groups over 90, with a cleaning fee taken from it. Send an enquiry to check dates, noting that 18th birthday parties are not accepted.
