About Deoro By The Bay
Deoro By The Bay is a seafood and grill restaurant on Skinner Street in Hastings, set at the Western Port marina with views over the bay. Owners Elisha and Steve Danielsen run both the restaurant and its events side, with a menu built on local produce. The Marina View Room is the main function space, a large room with vaulted ceilings and its own dance floor. It comes with a data projector and big screen, sound equipment and a microphone, so speeches and slideshows are simple to run. For smaller numbers, the Deoro Lounge seats up to 36 for a lunch or dinner, or takes up to 50 for a cocktail party. It suits baby showers, hens and bucks gatherings and trivia nights as well as relaxed birthday drinks. Weddings are a major focus, with outdoor ceremonies looking over the marina and receptions in the Marina View Room. The venue also hosts engagements, birthdays, corporate lunches and conferences. Function packages are put together with the team rather than published, covering food and drinks to suit the group. The function manager can advise on décor, or you can decorate the room yourself, and you are free to bring your own music, band or DJ.
