About Mystwood

Mystwood is a private wedding estate on Milsons Arm Road in Wollombi, spread over 140 acres of bushland and open paddocks in the Hunter Valley. It hosts weddings only, sold as all-inclusive packages, so the planning, styling and suppliers are handled by the venue team. Ceremonies take place at an outdoor site with an arch and guest seating, and couples can also use spots such as the rock formations and the bush for photos. After dark, the fairy-lit dome becomes the setting for first dances and late celebrations. The estate holds up to 150 guests in total. Sit-down receptions suit up to 120 people, and anything larger runs as a cocktail-style event instead. Catering is part of every package, with a choice of main meals served as a buffet or as shared platters at the tables. Wait staff, cutlery and crockery come with it, and the larger packages add a grazing board before the meal. Drinks are BYO. Mystwood provides the bar, bar staff, glassware, a commercial fridge and ice, and a small charge applies for each guest aged 18 and over. Every booking includes an in-house wedding planner and a supervisor on the day. Five self-contained cabins sit a short walk from the reception, and dogs are welcome to join the ceremony.

Pricing

The Bronze Micro package costs $10,995 for up to 40 guests and runs Sunday to Thursday only. It covers the venue, planner, ceremony setting, a four-hour reception and catering.

The Gold package is $26,495 for up to 50 guests from Sunday to Thursday, or $29,995 on a Friday or Saturday including all five cabins for two nights. It adds a celebrant, photography, videography, a DJ/MC, styling and a six-hour reception, and extra guests are $85 each.

A non-refundable booking deposit secures the date ($2,000 for Bronze Micro, $3,000 for Gold), and the balance is paid in stages before the wedding.

Food

Catering is included in every package, with several main meal choices served buffet style or as shared platters on the tables. Wait staff, cutlery and crockery are supplied.

The Gold package adds a deluxe grazing board with cold meats before the meal, and a grazing board can be added to the micro package after the ceremony.

Beverages

Drinks are BYO, bought in bulk by the couple. Mystwood supplies the bar, bar staff, glassware, a commercial fridge, ice and all bar items, with a $10 charge for each guest aged 18 and over. A champagne tower can be added to the Gold package.

Availability
