About Aspire Events, Venues and Catering
Aspire Events, Venues and Catering is the events and catering arm of UOW Pulse at the University of Wollongong. Its chefs cook from a commercial kitchen in Wollongong, and its event staff run food and drinks service across the Illawarra. Beyond the campus function rooms, the team caters on location. Couples who have found their property or venue can bring in Aspire's chefs and front-of-house team. Wedding menus run from grazing tables and food stations to progressive banquets of several courses, shared plates, long lunches at a single table, and canapés with cocktails. Private clients book Aspire for dinner parties, cocktail parties and weddings on the lawn. The team designs a menu for the event, helps with equipment hire and offers beverage packages, with a qualified sommelier to choose the wines. Corporate catering covers working breakfasts and lunches through to formal dinners and Christmas functions. For bigger crowds, Mobile Catering by Aspire sends out a branded food truck and a barista coffee cart. Aspire is a not-for-profit, so the money it makes goes back into student programs at the university. Send an enquiry with the date, guest numbers and venue.
