Two80 Cabaret sits on Cleveland Street in Surry Hills and was built for performance rather than converted into it. The fit-out is deliberately lavish, and the lighting and sound system are the real investment — this is a venue where a show actually looks and sounds like a show. It holds 160 standing, 120 cabaret or theatre style, or 80 for a sit-down meal, with a projector, flatscreen TV, PA, air conditioning and storage space for anything you bring in. The venue's own list of what runs there covers burlesque, comedy, live bands and circus, alongside hens parties and birthday celebrations. Exclusive hire means the room is yours, which matters for a ticketed event or anything with a run sheet. If you're planning a party with an actual performance element — a act, a band, a compère — this handles it without hiring in a production rig, which is usually the expensive part.
