About Castle Hill Tavern

Castle Hill Tavern is a long-standing local pub on Victoria Avenue in Castle Hill, with a family bistro, sports and public bars, a TAB, pool tables and a beer garden. Two purpose-built function rooms sit alongside, each with its own bar. The Balcony Bar is the larger room, with a private bar and bathrooms, a projector screen, a modern interior and a big private balcony. It holds 100 standing indoors and 200 on the balcony – 300 in all – or 175 seated. The pub's functions page lists the two rooms as the Terrace Bar and Loft Bar. The Bourbon Bar has its own bar and a hardwood dance floor, taking 150 standing or 100 seated, and has hosted birthdays, engagements, school reunions and sports presentations. Book both rooms together for up to 450 standing or 275 seated. Catering covers platters of hot and cold canapés and sliders, two- or three-course banquets, a traditional buffet and a barbecue buffet grilled by a chef on the balcony. Drinks can run on a bar tab, guests can buy their own, or the team can put together a beverage package. Each private function includes up to five hours of exclusive use of the room, bar and wait staff, helium balloons, table linen, candles and full coordination. DJs, MCs, karaoke, photo booths and live music can be arranged at extra cost. Send an enquiry to book.
