Meriton Suites Chatswood rises 32 levels over Albert Avenue, which makes it the tallest hotel in Chatswood. Meriton pitches it mainly at business travellers heading to the CBD or Macquarie Park, but the suite mix suits event visitors too: a family flying in for a North Shore wedding, or relatives gathering for a milestone birthday, can stay together in one suite instead of booking several hotel rooms. Every suite is set up like an apartment, with a kitchen with a large fridge and coffee capsule machine, an internal washer and dryer, a separate living and dining area and a private balcony. One-bedroom suites of 54 square metres sleep two, and City Suites on levels 20 to 31 look back towards the CBD skyline. Two-bedroom suites are 76 square metres with two bathrooms and sleep four. The largest is the three-bedroom Altitude Suite, 108 square metres on the top floor, sleeping six. There are wheelchair-accessible one-bedroom suites as well. On site there's an indoor pool, spa, sauna and gym, and guest services is staffed around the clock. The hotel sits in a quiet lane next to Chatswood Park, about 220 metres from Chatswood Interchange, where trains, the metro and buses meet. The Concourse, a North Shore venue for theatre, comedy and concerts, is roughly 650 metres away, the Mandarin Centre about 400 metres and Chatswood Chase about 900 metres. The CBD is 11km south. Parking costs $30 per vehicle per night, with EV charging at extra cost. Cots are $11 a night including linen, and highchairs are free. Maximum overnight guests are two in a one-bedroom suite, four in a two-bedroom and six in a three-bedroom, with no rollaway or sofa beds. Cots cost $11 a night. Unregistered visitors must leave by 10:30pm. Smoking is not allowed inside suites. At least one adult aged 18 or over must stay in each suite, and a refundable bond is taken on arrival.
