About Astina Suites Penrith

Astina Suites Penrith is a serviced-apartment hotel on Woodriff Street, built and run by Astina Group, a family-owned property business based in western Sydney. It sits somewhere between a hotel and an apartment: there is a reception desk, room service from the rooftop bar and a guest-only pool, but every suite has its own kitchen and laundry. That combination suits people travelling to Penrith for a wedding, a 50th or a family celebration who want room to spread out, and the building's own rooftop level is a wedding venue, with the suites available for guests. Suites come with one, two or three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own ensuite with a bath and a rainfall shower, plus a king or king single bed. Apartments are generously sized, with ducted air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a lounge and dining area with a Samsung smart TV, a powder room, a full laundry and a private balcony set with a table and chairs. Kitchens have an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. The Penthouse Collection gathers the largest two- and three-bedroom suites, with finer finishes and wider views. Upstairs, Theo's Rooftop Bar and the guests-only pool look out to the Blue Mountains, and there is a gym for guests and the Reset recovery studio with a spa, sauna, steam room, ice baths and a float tank. The site places Penrith Stadium, the Nepean River's EastBank precinct and the small bars of the Woodriff Street laneway close by, and notes public transport is near. Early check-in at 11:30am costs $65 and late check-out at 12pm costs $45, both subject to availability. One car space per suite is included, two for a three-bedroom suite, and extra parking is charged.

House Rules & Stay Details

Check-in is from 2pm to 10pm, with after-hours arrival arranged in advance, and check-out is at 10am. Each suite has a full kitchen, a laundry, free NBN wifi, ducted air-conditioning and a balcony. Housekeeping is weekly for stays of more than seven nights. The rooftop pool is for hotel guests only, open 7am to 8pm Sunday to Thursday and 7am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and may close for private events. Theo's Rooftop Bar can have amplified music until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and a strict smart casual dress code applies there after 6pm. The hotel is non-smoking and vape-free, including balconies, with a cleaning fee of up to $400. Parties are not allowed and can attract a fee of up to $1000, and extra visitors beyond the suite's capacity need approval between 9pm and 7am.

Can Astina host the wedding and put up our guests?

Yes. The rooftop level holds the Gweneth Elizabeth Room, for up to 200 guests, and Theo's Rooftop Bar, which takes cocktail events of up to 220, and the two can be booked together for the whole day. Guests can stay in the serviced suites below.

Can a group book several suites together?

Is parking included?

One car space comes with each suite, and a three-bedroom suite includes two. If you need another space, ask reception; it costs extra and depends on what is free.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in runs from 2pm to 10pm, and later arrivals can be arranged with notice. Check-out is 10am. Reception can offer an 11:30am early check-in for $65 or a 12pm late check-out for $45 when available.

Is breakfast available?

No breakfast is served, but every suite has a full kitchen and the nearest café is under 50 metres away. Room service comes from Theo's Rooftop Bar from 12pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday to 8pm, and on Friday and Saturday to 9pm.
