One Global Resorts Parramatta is the hotel inside V by Crown Group, a residential tower on Hunter Street that picked up a Five Star Award at the Asia Pacific Property Awards for its architecture. It runs like an apartment hotel with resort facilities, which makes it a practical base for families and friends travelling in for a wedding, a big birthday or a conference in Sydney's second CBD. Every guest can use the 25-metre outdoor infinity pool set in landscaped gardens, the spa, the sauna, the gym and the rooftop bar on the 26th floor, which looks out over the Parramatta skyline. The Studio 43 has a double bed and takes one or two guests, and the One Bed 58 has a king bed in a separate bedroom with an enclosed balcony. The Two Bed Suite sleeps up to four, and the Executive Two Bed Suite, at 70 square metres, has a king and two double beds for four to six people. All suites are self-contained, with a kitchen (convection microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, fridge and cookware), an internal laundry with washer and dryer, a designer bathroom, a laptop safe, a smart TV that streams from your own devices and free high-speed wifi. The hotel is roughly three minutes' walk from Parramatta station, with direct trains to the Sydney CBD and the airports, and buses stop at Westfield Parramatta on Argyle Street. Parramatta Square and Westfield are nearby, and the site points to Riverside Theatres, Parramatta Park and the 30,000-seat CommBank Stadium for events. Guests can self-park on site for $45 a night.
