About Mobile Millennium DJ's
Mobile Millennium DJ's is a mobile DJ business based in the Newcastle region, playing weddings, school formals, corporate functions and private parties across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Each DJ turns up dressed for the occasion, sets up and packs down outside your event time, and works to keep the dance floor busy from the first song to the last. The music library stretches from the sixties to modern chart hits, played in their original versions. You can hand over a full playlist or leave the choices to the DJ. Once you book, you get a login to an online planning system where you can add requests, map out the running order, send messages and make payments, saving as you go rather than doing it all in one sitting. Every booking comes with a professional sound system, a microphone for speeches and dance-floor lighting such as multibeam and intelligent lights, a fog machine and lasers. Smoke and strobes can be left at home if they don't suit the venue. Volume stays low through pre-dinner drinks and meals so guests can talk, then lifts when the dancing starts. Weddings and parties can add a photo booth with a choice of backdrops, from flower circles and rosettes to greenery and timber lights, along with up-lighting, custom gobo projections and an audio guest book. Frequently asked questions
How long will the DJ play for?
Five hours is the usual booking because it suits most events, but Mobile Millennium DJ's can play for as little as three hours or for eight hours and more if your celebration runs long.
When does the DJ arrive to set up?
The DJ is scheduled to arrive around an hour before the agreed start time, leaving room to set up fully, run a sound check and sort out any problems before the first guests walk in.
Can we choose the music ourselves?
Yes. You can supply your own song list or leave it to the DJ. After booking you receive a login to an online planner where you can add requests, plan the running order of the night and save changes as you go.
What if our venue doesn't allow smoke or strobe lighting?
Let them know when you enquire. The lighting rig includes a fog machine, strobes and lasers, but smoke and strobe effects can be left out wherever they don't suit the venue or the style of event.
Can we add a photo booth to the DJ booking?
Yes. Photo booths come with a range of backdrops, including flower circles, coloured rosettes, greenery, gold, silver and timber lights, and the business also offers up-lighting, wedding gobos and an audio guest book.
