About Sands Hotel
The Sands Hotel is a local pub on Hall Road in Carrum Downs, with a bistro, a sports bar and more than 60 accommodation rooms on the same site. There is plenty of parking on site, which makes functions easy for guests arriving by car. Functions are held in the Dunes Room, a private room in the main building with its own entrance. It has a fully serviced bar, private bathrooms and access to a large outdoor terrace, plus a wall-mounted TV with HDMI, USB and Bluetooth inputs for slideshows and music. Cocktail parties come in two sizes, one for 30 to 60 guests and one for 60 to 80. Each includes five hours of exclusive room hire, food and beverage staff, a cocktail setup with table linen, sandwich and catering platters, a tea and coffee station and a bar tab. Seated groups of 30 to 60 adults can choose a two or three course set menu, with two dishes per course served alternately. The platter list runs from party pies and sliders to antipasto, yum cha, seafood, vegan and dessert options. The room suits birthdays, engagements, milestone celebrations and corporate events, and the hotel also hosts small weddings. A separate boardroom for up to ten people in the accommodation building covers meetings and training. The team can arrange a site inspection before you commit.
