About Parkdale Bowling & Social Club

Parkdale Bowling & Social Club sits on Alameda Place in Parkdale, a quiet spot away from the shopping strip that even many locals don't know is there. Members call it Sunny Parkdale, and the club takes private function bookings from the public through its booking request form. The clubhouse seats 72 people for a meal, with an informal lounge area beside the dining tables for guests who would rather chat. Outside is a ten-rink synthetic green with lighting, so a few ends of bowls can be part of a day or evening event. The club has a modern bar stocked with beer, wine, spirits, premixed drinks and soft drinks, and it can order in extra stock to suit your function. Bar staff can be arranged as part of the booking. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and hirers can choose to bring their own catering. A BBQ outside can also be booked for the day. A sound system with speakers inside and out is available, along with a wireless microphone for speeches. The club does not take bookings for 15th to 25th birthdays, and Saturdays are unavailable from September to March. To book, send an enquiry with the event type, date, start and finish times, guest numbers and which facilities you need.
