About Cerberus Beach House
Cerberus Beach House sits in the old boatshed at Half Moon Bay in Black Rock, right on the water. The seafood restaurant is upstairs, with a takeaway kiosk on the ground floor. For functions, the whole restaurant is booked for your group. Large windows run along the dining room, looking out over Port Phillip Bay, with the red cliffs of Black Rock nearby. The room seats up to 46 guests for a sit-down meal or holds 80 for a cocktail party. A coordinator on site helps with planning, and the venue hosts weddings, birthdays, private parties, corporate events and meetings. Food can be a buffet banquet, cocktail items, grazing dishes or a menu shaped around the occasion, drawing on the restaurant's modern Australian and seafood cooking. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free needs are catered for. Two drinks packages run for four and a half hours, or drinks can be charged on consumption. The liquor licence runs to 11:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 11pm on other nights. Exclusive use carries a minimum spend that varies by day and sitting, and a $500 deposit secures the date. The restaurant is reached by a staircase of 18 steps, and a council car park is next door. Send an enquiry to book.
